Christmas Eve Tilda
Hello everyone, today's card features one of my favourite Magnolia stamps..... Christmas Eve Tilda from the Magnolia So Jolly & Under the Mistletoe Collection 2009. I love this stamp as I love the way that it can be used all year round for a variety of different occassions..... so versatile!!!
I have coloured my image with distress inks, the background has been inked with antique linen and vintage photo and I have stamped the Old Valentine Letter from the Magnoia Valentine Collection 2009 in vintage photo ink too.
All the DPs are from Papermania and each one has been inked with antique linen and edged with walnut stain inks. The punched edge was done with an MS punch that was one of my new purchases from when we were in Florida and the ribbon and pearls are from my stash. The sentiment is from WOJ, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I punched out the little branches with my leone em punch.
Supplies
Card/Paper: Ivory pearlescent card, PM - Exquisite Collection
Stamps: Magnolia - Christmas Eve Tilda - So Jolly & Under the Mistletoe Collection 2009, Old Valentine Letter - Valentine Collection 2009, Sentiment - WOJ

CAS Christmas
Hello everyone, the card I have made today is certainly the quickest card I have ever made! My fellow cupcakes and I have a challenge among ourselves and this month the theme is CAS christmas. Well this couldn't have come at a better time as I vowed that this year I would try and come up with a design that would be quick for me to do so I wouldn't be frantically making christmas cards at the last minute.
Well I love doing CAS cards but I always colour an image and at least one piece of DP slips its way into the design, but I was determind to try something else. I don't have many just stamping stamps.... you know the kind I mean where you just stamp the image and its done.... mine are mostly stamp an image and colour it in types.... but I hunted through my Magnolias and found two snowflakes and a sentiment..... perfect!....but what to do with them........
....well as always I always find so much inspiration from my fellow bloggers and I just LOVE the cards that Sarita at Little Princess Cards produces....if you haven't been there check out her blog it is just fantastic! So filled with ideas this is what I made.....
I think it looks a little better in real life as it is a bit of a dull day today and my picture hasn't turned out too well.... but I'm really pleased with how the card turned out. I might just try and do a few more CAS cards in the future.... I think I have the bug!!
Supplies
Card/Paper: White and pink card
Stamps: Magnolia Christmas Collection 2008
Embellishments: Ribbon
Tools: Cuttlebug, nesties

I'm Back with Hugs!
Hello everyone, I am back from my hols in Florida. We had such a great time but I think I left my mojo in the states as it has taken me ages to get back into the swing of it again. However this week I managed to pick up a copic and use some of the new stash I bought while I was away.
For my card I have used Tilda Wants a Hug from the Magnolia Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010 and I have coloured her with copics...... although having been away for a while and out of practice I had to paper piece the dress to hide a bad colour choice and naff colouring!!!! The DP is from K & Co and the ribbon and jewels are from my stash. The flourish die cut was cut with a Marianne Creatables die and I stitched around the edges of all the elements with my sewing machine.
I know that technically this is a christmas stamp but I have added two little star shaped jewels to her hair and I hope the holly leaves aren't too obvious!!
Supplies
Card/Paper: Green and ivory card, K & Co - Small Wonders Girl
Stamps: Magnolia - Tilda Wants a Hug - Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010
Colouring: Copics - E00, E11, R20, Y21, YR23, E31, E35, E50, E51, E53, RV000, YG03, W1, W3, W5, W7, 0
Embellishments: Jewels, ribbon, stickles
Tools: Sewing machine, Marianne creatables die, cuttlebug

Acetate Card
Hello everyone, today I have an acetate card to show you. I have wanted to make an acetate card for ages now and a few weeks ago my DT teamie over on the CCC blog set the theme of acetate but unfortunately I was ill that week and couldn't take part... so today, here we are with my very first acetate card!!! I really love how it has turned out although I have to say it was a bit difficult to photograph and you can see the tiny little bits of fluff or whatever on the acetate....very annoying!!
So, for my card I have used Spooky Tilda and cut her out so the broom wasn't showing - a great way to use the stamp for other occasions. She is coloured with copics, popped up on foam pads and mounted onto a die cut nestie that has been embossed with my d'vine swirl folder. The DP is from Imaginisce, the flowers are from wild orchid and the jewels and ribbon are from my stash.
For the inside I have used Sweet Tilda on the left and Bridesmaid Tilda on the right. The layout and everything on the left side is the same as the front except that I haven't used the flowers and I have used a ribbon slider instead of a bow so that the inside wasn't too bulky. The right had side is just simple, I stamped Tilda straight onto the card along with the sentiment that is from Crafty Sentiments.
Finally, I just used a stamp from WOJ on the back... kept it CAS!
Supplies
Card/Paper: Acetate, white and pink card, Imaginisce
Stamps: Magnolia - So Spooky Tilda - So Spooky Collection 2009, Sweet Tilda - Right Through My Heart Collection 2010, Bridesmaid Tilda - Wedding Collection 2010, Sentiment - Crafty Sentiments, Created with Love and Care Stamp - WOJ
Colouring: Copics - E00, E02, E11, R20, R81, R85, E31, E33, E35, E50, E25, Y11, Y17, YR23, Y21, YG03, G21, YG67, C1, C3, C5, C7, 100, W1, W3, W5, W7, 0
Embellishments: Flowers and ribbon slider from Wild Orchid, jewels, ribbon, brads, stickles
Tools: Sewing machine, cuttlebug, d'vine swirl folder, nesties, leone em branch punch

A bit of Distressing!
Hello everyone, today my card features the ever so cute Tilda with Birdcage from the Magnolia Pet Collection 2009. This card was originally made for a challenge with a theme of distressing....it was certainly a challenge for me!
Well, distressing is a nightmare for me and although I can't bring myself to rip and rough up my papers, I can manage a bit of inking! Since I got my copics at christmas my distress inks have been thoroughtly neglected but I have dusted them off and used them to colour Tilda. My DP is from Basic grey and I have distressed each element with antique linen and edged with vintage photo. I really love how this card turned out.... I'll have to get my inks out a bit more!
Supplies
Card/Paper: Cream and pink card, Basic Grey - Sugared
Stamps: Magnolia - Tilda with Birdcage - Pet Collection 2009
Colouring: Distress inks - antique linen, walnut stain, black soot, vintage photo, peeled paint, worn lipstick, tattered rose, faded jeans, weathered wood
Embellishments: Ribbon, pearls
Tools: Sewing machine

Christmas Party Tilda
Hello everyone, my card today features Christmas Party Tilda from the Magnolia So Jolly and Under the Mistletoe Collection 2009.
I have coloured Tilda with copics and embellished with stickles. My lush DP is from fancy pants and the sentiment is from WOJ. Instead of cutting my card quite close to the image I decided to leave it larger to give more focus to Tilda and I quite like the look! Of course, with a larger image I kept the layout very simple and I embellished with jewels and ribbon from my stash.
Supplies
Card/Paper: Black and white card, Fancy Pants
Stamps: Magnolia - Christmas Party Tilda - So Jolly and Under the Mistletoe Collection 2009, Sentiment - WOJ
