A bit of Distressing!

Hello everyone, today my card features the ever so cute Tilda with Birdcage from the Magnolia Pet Collection 2009. This card was originally made for a challenge with a theme of was certainly a challenge for me!

Well, distressing is a nightmare for me and although I can't bring myself to rip and rough up my papers, I can manage a bit of inking! Since I got my copics at christmas my distress inks have been thoroughtly neglected but I have dusted them off and used them to colour Tilda. My DP is from Basic grey and I have distressed each element with antique linen and edged with vintage photo. I really love how this card turned out.... I'll have to get my inks out a bit more!

Card/Paper: Cream and pink card, Basic Grey - Sugared
Stamps: Magnolia - Tilda with Birdcage - Pet Collection 2009
Colouring: Distress inks - antique linen, walnut stain, black soot, vintage photo, peeled paint, worn lipstick, tattered rose, faded jeans, weathered wood
Embellishments: Ribbon, pearls
Tools: Sewing machine
Thanks for looking x
