You Make Me Smile

Hello everyone, for my card I have used Secret Tilda from the Magnolia Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010 and she is coloured with copics and accented with silver stickles and a ranger inkssentials pen. The sentiment is one of the Magnolia minis and it is just the perfect size to pop on the side of an image, and the flourish is also from Magnolia but it is actually a long stamp for a border, but I just partially stamped it to get the effect I wanted.

My DP is from DCWV and the doily is from Create4fun. I used a spellbinders fancy tag to create my two white tabs, which also came from Create4fun. Finally, the ribbon and jewels are from my stash.

Magnolia Advent Calendar Day 3

Hello everyone, I am the day three host for Magnolia's advent calendar and each day we have a secret Magnolia prize up for grabs. The card I have to show you today features my favourite stamp from this year's christmas collection......

For my card I have used Secret Tilda from the Magnolia Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010 and she is coloured with copics. The DP is from Bo Bunny and the sentiment from cats life press. I have finished off with some ribbon, jewels and a christmas tree charm.

I'm Back with Hugs!

Hello everyone, I am back from my hols in Florida. We had such a great time but I think I left my mojo in the states as it has taken me ages to get back into the swing of it again. However this week I managed to pick up a copic and use some of the new stash I bought while I was away.

For my card I have used Tilda Wants a Hug from the Magnolia Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010 and I have coloured her with copics...... although having been away for a while and out of practice I had to paper piece the dress to hide a bad colour choice and naff colouring!!!! The DP is from K & Co and the ribbon and jewels are from my stash. The flourish die cut was cut with a Marianne Creatables die and I stitched around the edges of all the elements with my sewing machine.

I know that technically this is a christmas stamp but I have added two little star shaped jewels to her hair and I hope the holly leaves aren't too obvious!!
