Round and Round

Hello everyone, today over on Cupcake Challenge 80 we have a theme of round and round where we would like to see circles on your creations. This week we are sponsored by our regular sponsor Simon Says Stamp and they are giving us a prize of a $20 gift certificate + free shipping. This is also a DT card for Magnolia and I am also entering it into the following challenges; Secret Crafter Challenge 72 which has a theme of stitching, Cute Card Thursday Challenge 101 where the theme is ribbon and Just Magnolia that has a birthday theme this week.


For my card I have used Tilda Writing Diary from the Magnolia Right Through My Heart Collection 2010 and for the background I have used Old Valentine Letter from the Valentine Collection 2009. I have coloured Tilda with copics and cute her out with circle nesties. The DP and flower were in my DT kit from Magnolia and the ribbon, brad, spacer and jewels are from my stash.

Cupcake Challenge 53 - 1st Birthday Celebrations!

Well can you believe Cupcake Craft Challenges has been on the go for a year. Today is our first birthday celebrations and we have a fabulous load of prizes up for grabs as well as a celebratory blog hop with prizes every step of the way! The theme this week is something sweet, with the added option of using a cupcake on your creation.


For my card I have used my Magnolia Love Muffin stamp and it is coloured with distress inks. The papers are from papermania and the ribbon, pearls and flower are from my stash. I used my leone em branch punch to create the small branches and my fiskars punch for the scalloped border.


I decorated the inside to compliment the front and I also included a recipe for blueberry muffins.

Just Magnolia Week 11

Wow, I am so please I have finally finished this card. It was one of those cards that we all get from time to time, that just wouldn't go right! Everything I stuck down kept going wonky and I just couldn't settle on the square panel behind the image, this is the third one I tried and I'm finally happy with it! Then low and behold, I have just discovered I have missed the sentiment from the sketch.... what an idiot I can be... I understand girls if this one doesn't count.


The card is for Just Magnolia Week 11 where there is a fabulous sketch to follow by the uber talented Bev. The stamp has been coloured with distress inks and the paper is from papermania. The flowers are prima and the branches were punched with my leone em punch.... I just can't keep my hands off it!!!


The chocolate colour scheme was because on the inside I have put a recipe for chocolate chip muffins.
