Summer Tilda with Bike

Hello again, three posts in one day is unheard of for me....although one of them was just a news post so I suppose that one doesn't count! This card is for four challenges, firstly I used the sketch from Just Magnolia Challenge 19, ABC's theme is B for buttons, Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 65 has a theme of travel and finally Cute Card Thursday Challenge 74 has a lazy days summer theme.

For my card I used a cute Tilda Stamp from the Magnolia Lazy Summer Days Collection and she is coloured with distress inks and highlighted with my insenntials pen...yes I remembered to do it this time! The papers are from pebbles inc and I used my paisley folder for the embossing. The flower, pearls, button and ribbon are all from my stash.

I have decorated the inside, but it isn't anything special so I haven't shown it.

Supplies
Card/Paper: White and pink card, Pebbles inc
Stamps: Magnolia - Tilda with Bike
Colouring: Distress inks - tattered rose, worn lipstick, vintage photo, spiced marmalade, faded jeans, weathered wood, black soot, peeled paint, walnut stain. Inkssentials pen for the highlights.
Embellishments: Flower, button, ribbon, pearls
Tools: Cuttlebug, paisley folder, corner rounder punch, leone em branch punch, water brush

Tilda on a Bookmark

Hello everyone, well I have finally got around to making something and for once it is something for me!!! I have been meaning to make a book mark for ages and I have finally got around to doing so. I'm entering it into this weeks Simon Says Challenge where the theme is anything but a card, Stamp Something which has a theme of summer vacation and Secret Crafter Challenge 45 where the theme is fancy corners.

For my bookmark I have used the very cute Tilda with Ice Cream and it is available to buy from Magnolia. I have coloured her with distress inks and added some stickles to the top of her lolly! The papers are from K & Co and the ribbon and jewel from my stash. I kept wanting to add extra embellies, but then realized they would get crushed in a book so I kept it simple...and flat!!!

How it fits the challenges.... its a bookmark so it obvious for Simon Says, the summer vacation theme of Stamp Something is covered by the stamp, summery colours and also I love to read in my free time and finally for the fancy corners theme of Secret Crafter.... well I have rounded off my corners, but I realize that this could be pushing it so I understand if it doesn't count!!!

Finally, a close up..... looks a bit of an odd angle......sorry! lol!!!

Supplies

Card/Paper: White and pink card, K & Co Sparkly Sweet
Stamps: Magnolia - Lazy Summer Days Collection
Colouring: Distress inks - tattered rose, worn lipstick, vintage photo, spiced marmalade, faded jeans, weathered wood, black soot broken china. Inkssentials pen for highlights
Embellishments: Ribbon, jewel, stickles
Tools: Corner rounder punch, water brush

Delicious Diva Challenge 1 & SFOS Challenge 63

Hello everyone.... for the second time today! I have made a rectangular card for a change..... really living on the edge!!!! I don't often do them, but I really enjoyed making this one, it was nice and quick! I am entering it into a new challenge called Delicious Divas where there is a fabulous sketch to follow. I have to say that this is my second attempt at the sketch, for my first one I got carried away a little and deviated from the sketch a bit too much!!!! lol!! I'm also entering this card into SFOS Challenge 63 where you have to use flowers.

For my card I have used a very sweet Magnolia image from the Lazy Summer Days Collection. I have coloured her with distress inks and highlighted with my inkssentials pen. The lush DP was a gift from my boyfriends Mum but I don't know the make (sorry!) the ribbon, pearls and brad are from my stash and the flower was left over from my Magnolia DT kit.

Finally, a close up of my image.

Supplies
Card/Paper: Pink and white card, DP from stash
Stamps: Magnolia - Summer Tilda - Lazy Summer Days Collection
Colouring: Distress inks - tattered rose, worn lipstick, vintage photo, weathered wood
Embellishments: Ribbon, flower, pearls, jewel brad

Stamptacular Challenge 19

Morning all, this week for Stamptacular Challenge 19 we have a theme of 3-2-1 where you have to use 3 brads, 2 patterned papers and 1 flower. We also have our very own Janneke sponsoring us with a fabulous prize this week, so check out the blog and join in.

For my DT card I have used a Magnolia image that I received from a blog bud and it is coloured with distress inks and the water is highlighted with stickles. The papers and glazed brads are basic grey and the flowers, ribbon and charm are all from my stash.

I have decorated the inside too with the same basic grey DPs and the sentiment is from WOJ.

You may notice that two of the pictures look like they have different lighting (the front of my card and the close up below).... well stupidly I took them at different times to the others. I have retaken them and tried to sort the problem out, but photobucket is playing up and it still seems to have the old images. If two of the images disappear later on, I will pop back and add them again!

Finally, a close up!

Supplies
Card/Paper: White, black and pink card. Basic grey - Sugared
Stamps: Magnolia and WOJ - sentiment
Colouring: Distress inks - peeled paint, worn lipstick, tattered rose, vintage photo, walnut stain, broken china, weathered wood. Inkssentials pen for highlights
Embellishments: Basic grey brads, ribbon, flowers, charm
Tools: water brush

The rest of the DT have made some fabulous cards, so make sure you check them out.

Just Magnolia Ch 16 & ROP Ch 17

Hi everyone, this is my final Magnolia DT card using the Lazy Summer Days Collection and it should be well on its way to Sweden by now. All the delightful stamps from this collection are available to buy as individual stamps now. I am entering this card into Just Magnolia Challenge 16 which has a theme of distressing and Roses on Paper Challenge 17 which has a theme of hearts.

I have coloured Tilda with distress inks and I have added some stickles to the top of the ice lolly for a bit of sparkle. The gorgeous paper came in my Magnolia DT kit and I loved the brightness of it so I kept my layout fairly simple to show it off.... all I did was distress the edges with worn lipstick distress ink. The bright pink ribbon was also in my kit, as were the flowers, the button, pearls and heart shaped pearls. The white ribbon is from my stash and my leone em branch punch has made an appearance yet again!

Finally, a close up of tilda and you can see the sparkle on the ice lolly.

Supplies
Card/Paper: Pink and white card, paper from Magnolia DT kit
Stamps: Magnolia - Lazy Summer Days Collection
Colouring: Distress inks - tattered rose, worn lipstick, vintage photo, faded jeans, weathered wood, black soot. Inkssentials pen for highlights
Embellishments: Flowers, ribbon, button, pearls, pearl hearts
Tools: Leone em branch punch, water brush, sponge

CCT Ch 71 & Stamp with Fun Ch 18

Afternoon all, this is a Magnolia DT card and tag set that are on their way to Sweden as we speak. For them I have used four stamps from the Lazy Summer Days Collection and they are now available to be purchased as single stamps.

I'm going to enter this card in Cute Card Thursday Challenge 71 where the theme is "Let's get fruity" and I have also followed the fabulous sketch from Stamp with Fun Challenge 18.

I decided to make a simple matching tag for a bit of fun. I cut out tilda, coloured her with distress inks, sat her on some ribbon and raised her up on foam pads for a bit of dimension.

For my card, the base and DP all came in my Magnolia DT kit. For the main image, firstly I stamped tilda, then masked her and stamped the strawberry image to make it look like she is sitting on the strawberry. I also stamped the beach flowers, cut them out and raised them up on foam pads for my embellishments. All my images are coloured with distress inks and for the sentiment I used whispers pens to ink up the stamp.

Supplies
Card/Paper: All from my Magnolia DT kit
Stamps: Magnolia - All from Lazy Summer Days Collection
Colouring: Distress inks - tattered rose, vintage photo, worn lipstick, faded jeans, fired brick, spiced marmalade, weathered wood, black soot, peeled paint. Inksenntials pen, whispers pens for the sentiment
Embellishments: Ribbon
Tools: Cuttlebug, nesties, water brush, MS doily lace punch, corner rounder punch

Cupcake Challenge 51

Hello everyone, here we are with Cupcake Challenge 51 and this week we have a fab "beach" theme that has been set by the lovely Sandy. My DT card for the challenge is also a Magnolia DT card and it will be winging its way over to Sweden later on today. I have used Surfing Tilda from the Lazy Summer Days Collection which is now available to buy as individual stamps.

The papers I have used came in my DT kit and I think they work really well together for the beach theme - a cloudy sky and fish swimming in the sea!!! I coloured my image with distress inks, as usual, and I added waterfall stickles to the waves for a bit of sparkle. I collected the shells from our local beach and I thought they were a nice finishing touch.

Supplies
Card/Paper: Card and paper all from my Magnolia DT kit
Stamps: Magnolia - Surfing Tilda & Sentiment - Lazy Summer Days Collection
Colouring: Distress inks - tattered rose, worn lipstick, vintage photo, dusty concord, broken china, spiced marmalade, weathered wood
Embellishments: Ribbon, shells
Tools: Cuttlebug, nesties, water brush

Stamptacular Challenge 18

Hi everyone, this week at Stamptacular Challenge 18 we have a theme of "Childs Play". This is a really fun theme and the rest of the DT have made some awesome creations for children. This week we are also sponsored by Paper Makeup Stamps and they have put up some fabulous stamps as a prize for one lucky winner!

For my DT project I made a money box, well it was actually a very plain money tin and I just decorated it! I used a tilda image that I received from a blog bud and she is coloured with distress inks. I must apologize for the awful photo, the sun was really bright and I just couldn't get a decent shot.

This is the money box from the other side. The papers are from my stash, I used my MS doily lace punch for the borders, the flowers are primas, I used my leone em punch to make the branches and the label is computer generated using the font lucinda handwriting. I also have a trim down the sides using some american crafts ribbon, but I have just realized that it isn't showing in any of my piccies!!!

Finally, a view of the top. Just before I assembled everything, I lined up all of the layers and cut a slot with my craft knife, so the money can be popped inside.

Supplies
Card/Paper: Pink and white card, paper from stash
Stamps: Magnolia
Colouring: Distress inks - tattered rose, vintage photo, worn lipstick, peeled paint, faded jeans, walnut stain, black soot, spiced marmalade. Inksenntials pen for highlights
Embellishments: Primas, pearls, american crafts ribbon
Tools: cuttlebug, nesties, MS doily lace punch, leone em branch punch, craft knife
